Honoring Ahmed Tamer At The Marlog 10 Conference
The President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, honored the Director General of Land and Maritime Transport, Dr. Ahmed Tamer, during the activities of the International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics – “Marlog 10”, which will be held in Alexandria, Egypt, between 13 and 15 June this year. , entitled: “Digitization in Ports and the Maritime Transport Industry”.
In this context, Dr. Tamer thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt and the organizers of the “Marlog 10” conference, and Dr. Abdel Ghaffar, praising “the efforts made to make this annual event a success that all those interested in the Arab and international maritime transport industry are keen to attend.”
In a statement on the sidelines of the conference, Tamer noted, “The Arab Academy is an Arab maritime expertise house,” stressing “the importance of integration with the Academy to develop the Lebanese maritime cadres, in addition to developing human capabilities in Lebanese ports through cooperation with the Lebanese Institute of Marine Science and Technology, Marsati, based in Batroun.”
