Officer in charge of an Engineering watch for ships of 750 kW and more – Attended Machinery Spaces (or assigned as Engineer officer in charge in unattended Machinery spaces)

• Be At Least 18 Years Of Age – A Basic Education Is Supported By The State (A. Certified Engineering Education From The State After Basic Education Or B. Primary Education Only)
• (A ). Marine Service Credit Of Not Less Than 12 Months As Part Of A Training Program Supported Include Training On Board Ships And Meets The Requirements In Section  A-III / 1 Of The International Convention For Education And Training STCW And Documented Record Of Maritime Training, Or (B ). Service Workshops And Service Freely Supported Maritime Training Documented Record Of Not Less Than 36 Months, Of Which At Least 30 Months Free Service Engineering Department.
• The Service Through The Implementation Of Marine And Engineering Duties Watch Keeping For A Period Not Less Than Six Months Under The Supervision Of The Chief Engineer Officer Or A Qualified Engineer.

• Completed The Education And Training Of Certified Achieve The Standards Of Efficiency In Section A-III / 1 ( The Responsibilities Of An Officer On Duty Engineering ) Of The International Convention For The Education, Training And Implementation Of The Approach Typical Of The International Maritime Organization Number (7.04 ) , Which Contains Practical Training And Ships To Bring The Skills Of Mechanical And Electrical Required .
• Meet The Standard Of Competence Specified In Section A-VI / 1, Paragraph 2 ( Accredited Training To Introduce The Techniques Of Personal Safety, Prevention And Fire Fighting , First Aid, Personal Safety And Social Responsibilities ), Section A-VI / 2, Paragraphs 1 To 4 (Proficiency In Survival Craft- Other Than Fast Rescue Boats) , And, If Instructed To Perform Tasks Concerned With Combating Fires Him Meet The Efficiency Criterion Specified In Section A-VI / 3, Paragraphs 1 To 4 ( Minimum Requirement Training In Fire Fighting, Advanced ), And In If Assigned To Perform Specialized Tasks First Aid It Meet The Standard Of Competence Specified In Section A-VI / 4 , Paragraphs 1 To 3 ( The Minimum Mandatory Requirements Relating To First Aid And Medical Care) Of The International Convention For Education And Training STCW.
• Meet The Standards Of Medical Fitness For Seafarers As Contained Base I / 9 Of The International Convention For Education And Training STCW, And Meet All Other Local Requirements Set By Local Laws And Regulations Governing Certification.

Supporting courses shall be canceled in the case of item (a). of admission conditions

• Are Restricted Certificate Issued In Accordance With Articles Being Eliminated From The Types Of Engines And Reduced Duration Of The Course Up To A Maximum * 280 Hours
• Determine The Admission Conditions To Work By The State Coastal Waters (Less Than 3000 K. Watt), According To The International Requirements.

• The Following Courses Are Added Only In The Case Of Commissioned Officer On Duty Watch Keeping Engineering Is Concerned With The Following Tasks: (Proficiency In Survival Craft- Other Than Fast Rescue Boats- Advanced Course In Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting-Medical Care)
