Performed documented sea service as able seafarer engines forming part of engineering Watch keeping for at least 12 months, or 6 months with the implementaon of a training program cerﬁed
Education and training requirements and certiication
Completed the educaon and training of a cerﬁed standard meets the criteria of eﬃciency and skill set forth in Secon A-III / 5 (responsibilies of able seafarers engine) of the Internaonal Convenon for educaon and training . Meet the standard of competence speciﬁed in secon A-VI / 1 (based training techniques for the deﬁnion of personal safety , the prevenon and ﬁreﬁghng , ﬁrst aid , personal safety and social responsibilies) of the Internaonal Convenon for educaon and training STCW. Meet the standards of medical ﬁtness for seafarers as contained in rule I / 9 of the Internaonal Convenon for educaon and training STCW, and meet all other requirements of local incoming local laws and regulaons governing the issuance of cerﬁcates.
Able seafarer engine in Aended Machinery Spaces (or assigned as able seafarer engine in unaended Machinery spaces)
Prepare parcipants able seafarers engine from the support level and equip them with the skills and competence to enable them to perform the dues necessary to perform the tasks entrusted Able seafarer engine competent when working on board ships with a capacity of 750 k.Wa or more.
